Revista Enfermagem UERJ (UERJ Nursing Journal) publishes original and not previously published works resulting from academic/scientific research in the fields of Nursing, Health, and associated areas, especially related to the areas of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Mental Health and Psychiatry, Public Health and Emerging, Re-emerging and Neglected Diseases, such as research results, theoretical studies, critical literature reviews, and discussion of current and relevant topics for human health. Peer review process uses the anonymous double review system. It is characterized as a continuous journal with international circulation, which adopts guidelines aimed at promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in scientific research (SAGER Guidelines).
According to recommendations related to Open Science, Revista Enfermagem UERJ receives for evaluation manuscripts previously made available in reliable preprint repositories and supports the open science policy with the deposit of data in national and international repositories.
