About the Journal

Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia is the academic journal of the Institute of Psychology at Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), a public higher education institution recognized for its academic excellence and commitment to critical knowledge production in the field of Psychology.

Founded in 2001, the journal publishes original articles, brief communications, critical reviews, as well as interviews and authorized translations of texts relevant to the field. It also welcomes reviews of films and other cultural productions with an impact on contemporary psychological debate.

Since 2024, the journal operates on a continuous publication model, ensuring greater efficiency in the editorial process and in the dissemination of research findings. In the Qualis CAPES 2021–2024 evaluation, the journal is classified as A3.

All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and include abstracts in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, ensuring international accessibility and visibility.

A revista Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia comunica a reabertura para submissões de novos manuscritos a partir de 6 de abril de 2026, a fim de serem avaliados para possível publicação na revista.

 

Recomendamos que os autores façam a leitura atenta das diretrizes da revista antes de realizar a submissão, visando evitar a rejeição de sua submissão pelo não atendimento a tais diretrizes ou pela falta de documentos.
