Fostered by the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM/IMS/UERJ), Sexualidad, Salud y Sociedad – Revista Latinoamericana is a free access annual scientific journal, aligned with the open science regime with IDEIA – Impact, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility.
Sexualidad, Salud y Sociedad - Revista Latinoamericana prioritizes the publication of research empirical results based on the perspective of human and social sciences. It publishes original articles, conferences, interviews, book reviews and other texts of an academic nature that, with a focus on the Latin American social context, explore the cultural and political dimensions of sexualities and gender, and bring relevant and original contributions on the subject. The journal publishes texts in three languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English).
