In this article, I present an interdisciplinary reflection on the São Paulo’s multi-artist Jup do Bairro, problematizing the conditions of emergence of her audiovisual work and placing it in the field of transfeminist experimental production. To respond to our problem, we mobilize the artivist perspective, the dynamics of urban youth cultures, and the hypothesis of a biocultural activation related to the artistic spectrum configured by Jup as a black transvestite. The analysis of three artist's videoclips includes cartographic and communicational perspectives and considers the networks of affections articulated in the production, circulation, and reception of the artistic work in question. It is concluded that Jup's transfeminist experimentalism shapes actions of resistance and existence, facing normativity and racial, gender and sexuality segregations, and presenting a new grammar and a different intelligibility about sounds, images, bodies and cities
