This work aims to reflect on a proposal of didactic activities, with the theme black consciousness, in an interdisciplinary perspective applied to people deprived of liberty in the prison units of the state of Tocantins. To this end, we opted for the documentary and content analysis of the lesson plans of an education proposal used in the state's prisons. Based on the selected discursive genres and the teachers' dialogues presented at the end and beginning of each activity, we verified the interconnection of the curricular components involved in the development of the proposal, thus reverberating possibilities of interdisciplinarity in the approach to the proposed subject, with traction of distancing activities focused only on closed questions or with a normative focus, but which allow the student to reflect on the topic. The results indicate that the activities are not mostly interdisciplinary, so that it is perceived that there is still confusion in the concept of interdisciplinarity, as well as the need for theoretical-methodological studies and more comprehensive teacher training so that this proposal happens effectively in the organization of educational practices, especially in the modality of prison education.
