The present text has as an event of analysis the disappearance of seven inmates from the Penitenciária Agrícola de Monte Cristo, a prison unit located in the rural area of Boa Vista, in Roraima. we intend to understand how the performance of the Judiciary contributed to this event. For this, we turn to the judicial processes that condemned them, to analyze the extent to which judicial actors are responsible for the procedures of “dehumanization” of these people, a process that places them as “unworthy” of having their bodies sought after. and opens the door for us to be faced with a situation of forced disappearance.
