Abstract
We investigate an important reference of Giorgio Agamben, which up to now has had little weight in the interpretations that the secondary literature has made regarding his political-legal thinking. We argue that although he hardly ever refers to her explicitly, Simone Weil's writings are a constant companion of Agamben. We are particularly interested in Weil’s essay The Person and the Sacred, which Agamben has already dealt with in his laurea dissertation in law.
Keywords: Person; Sacred; Law.
