Frontiers of Gender Equality: Transnational Legal Perspectives, edited by Rebecca Cook, is a great collection on works exploring international and regional human rights law systems and how they aid the promotion of gender equality. Taking up well-known instruments, such as the CEDAW, as well as lesser-known regional treaties and conventions, the chapters analyze both the advances and limitations of gender equality law, discussing our hopes and plans for the future. Informative and engaging, this book is an amazing testament to advantages of studying comparative human rights law.
