About the Journal

O periódico Matraga teve o seu primeiro número em 1986. É uma publicação com periodicidade quadrimestral. Acolhe artigos inéditos e resenhas nos campos dos estudos literários e linguísticos, em português, espanhol, inglês ou francês. Os artigos são submetidos ao sistema de duplo parecer, sem indicação de autoria. Cada número do periódico conta com editores executivos que têm total autonomia para escolher, entre os artigos aprovados, aqueles que farão parte da revista, de acordo com critérios científicos como atualização e contribuição original dentro do campo de pesquisa.

Matraga Journal invites submissions for the next issues. Matraga, published by the Graduate Program in Letters at UERJ, is a senior publication, aiming at promoting a critical review on issues in the fields of Literature and Linguistics studies. Original papers and book reviews in Portuguese, English, Spanish or French are welcomed. Papers are submitted to double-blind peer review and must strictly follow Matraga Journal guidelines for paper submission.
