The Arcos Design journal, established in 1998, is a publication of the Graduate Program in Design (PPDESDI) of the Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial at the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). The biannual journal dedicates each volume to a specific guiding theme, in addition to accepting full articles through thematic calls for papers and on themes related to the PPDESDI's research lines.
Currently, the Arcos Design journal holds a Qualis CAPES A2 classification in the area of Design, Architecture, and Urbanism.
