Readers of the scientific journal História, Natureza e Espaço, in this special edition, will be treated to works by renowned researchers in the field of cartography. The research published here was presented at the "XII CARTOGRAPHY COLLOQUIUM FOR CHILDREN AND SCHOOL PEOPLE", which took place, in a hybrid format, in Santa Maria- RS. The event was promoted through a partnership between different Educational Institutions: Department of Geosciences (UFSM), Postgraduate Program in Geography (UFSM), Undergraduate and Bachelor's Geography Course (UFSM), Professional Master's degree in teaching Geography on a Network National (PROFGEO, Hubs Brusque/SC and Santa Maria/RS) and Master's in Teaching Humanities and Languages (UFN)
