[EM EDIÇÃO] Acolhimento em emergência oncológica pediátrica: dificuldades e facilidades na assistência à criança

Objetivo: identificar as dificuldades e as facilidades que permeiam o acolhimento realizado pela equipe de enfermagem na emergência oncológica pediátrica. Método: estudo qualitativo, realizado com 12 profissionais de enfermagem da emergência oncológica pediátrica de um hospital localizado no Rio de Janeiro. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas entre dezembro de 2023 e abril de 2024 e analisadas por meio da análise de conteúdo do tipo temática à luz do Interacionismo Simbólico. Todos os aspectos éticos foram respeitados. Resultados: foram delineadas duas categorias: Dificuldades e facilidades que permeiam o acolhimento na emergência oncológica pediátrica; e Percepção do acolhimento: apontando caminhos possíveis. Considerações finais: Foi possível identificar como dificuldades, a falta de um lugar adequado para a realização do acolhimento e a composição reduzida da equipe; e como facilidades, a disponibilidade de equipamentos de qualidade, o entrosamento da equipe e a boa comunicação com o familiar.
