Objetivo: discutir estratégias de cuidados de enfermagem, sob a perspectiva da complexidade, para a promoção da saúde sexual doadolescente diante dos fatores intervenientes ao exercício da sexualidade. Método: pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, realizada com15 enfermeiros de um núcleo de estudos da saúde do adolescente, da capital do Rio de Janeiro/Brasil. A entrevista semiestruturada foiempregada como técnica de coleta de dados, no período de janeiro a agosto de 2012. A Teoria Fundamentada nos Dados foi utilizadacomo referencial metodológico. Resultados: apresenta-se a categoria pluralidades e singularidades do processo de adolescer e de saúde,ancorada nas subcategorias: o fator gênero e suas implicações para os cuidados de enfermagem ao adolescente; cuidando do adolescentevítima de abuso sexual; ruptura da heteronormatividade institucional nos serviços de saúde: desafios emergentes. Conclusão:em conjunto, discutem estratégias para o desenvolvimento sexual saudável do adolescente em meio à complexidade desse processo.
ABSTRACT
Objective: to discuss nursing care strategies, from the perspective of complexity, for promoting adolescent sexual health in viewof factors intervening in exercising sexuality. Method: the participants in this qualitative study were 15 nurses from an adolescenthealth study nucleus located in Rio de Janeiro City, Brazil. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews conducted betweenJanuary and August 2012. The methodological framework was given by Grounded Theory. Results: this revealed the category pluralitiesand singularities in the processes of becoming adolescent and of health, underpinned by the subcategories: the gender factorand its implications for adolescent nursing care; care for sexually abused adolescents; breaking with health services’ institutionalhetero-normativity: and emerging challenges. Conclusion: taken together, these discuss strategies for adolescents’ healthy sexualdevelopment amid the complexity of this process.

Objetivo: discutir sobre las estrategias de cuidados de enfermería, desde la perspectiva de la complejidad, para promover la saludsexual de los adolescentes ante los factores que intervienen en el ejercicio de la sexualidad. Método: investigación con enfoquecualitativo, realizada junto a 15 enfermeros de un centro de estudios de la salud del adolescente, de la capital del estado de Rio deJaneiro/Brasil. Se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada como técnica de recolección de datos, entre enero y agosto de 2012. La TeoríaFundamentada en los Datos fue utilizada como marco metodológico. Resultados: se presenta la categoría pluralidades y singularidadesdel ingreso a la adolescencia y de salud, anclada en las subcategorías: el factor género y sus implicaciones para los cuidadosde la enfermería al adolescente; cuidando del adolescente víctima de abuso sexual; ruptura con la heteronormatividad institucionalen los servicios de salud: nuevos retos. Conclusión: conjuntamente, se discuten estrategias para el desarrollo sexual saludable deladolescente en medio de la complejidad de este proceso.
