Internships are moments where we have the opportunity to observe and experiment with elements we learn in the classroom, thinking about which practices we choose and improve in the future. It is time to understand, analyze and experience the theory-practice relationship. In order to broaden the perception of totality, understanding the dynamics that shapes/molded the school reality is fundamental, illustrating the present geographic and building geographic thinking in school geography through the contents that are conveyed in classes, guided bconcepts and principles. Therefore, the present report is the result of the observation work carried out during the internship carried out in an important municipal school in the municipality of Duque de Caxias. And it aims to present, analyze and rethink teaching in Geography classes in basic education, in this case, in Elementary School II. In addition, it aims to unravel issues related to school evaluation and its interference in the learning dynamics.
