About the Journal
The Revista Maracanan is a scientific journal edited by the professors of the Postgraduate Program in History at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Its first issue was printed in 1999; from 2014 onwards, it was published electronically; and, from 2019 onwards, it was published quarterly. Original works developed by highly qualified researchers are welcome. Papers, translations, book reviews, interviews and research notes, received in a continuous flow, make up each issue together with a thematic dossier coordinated by specialists from different institutions in Brazil and abroad.
