Perfil socioepidemiológico de clientes com limitação de mobilidade e seus cuidadores [Socioepidemiological profile of clients with limited mobility and their caregivers]

Objetivou-se caracterizar o perfil socioepidemiológico de clientes com limitação de mobilidade e cuidadores acompanhados pelas equipes da estratégia saúde da família de um Distrito Sanitário de Uberaba, Minas Gerais. Estudo descritivo, transversal, com abordagem quantitativa. Resultados demonstraram que a maioria dos 101 usuários identificados tinha mais de 60 anos, do sexo feminino e aposentada; apresentava Ensino Fundamental incompleto, baixa renda familiar, múltiplas comorbidades autorreferidas e dependência dos cuidadores. Segundo a Escala de Braden, a maioria dos usuários apresentou risco moderado e alto para desenvolver úlcera por pressão e 22(21,8%) deles as evidenciaram. Entre os 95 cuidadores, predominaram as seguintes características: idade entre 40 e 60 anos, sexo feminino, do lar, Ensino Fundamental incompleto, baixa renda familiar, ter parentesco com o usuário, residir com este e desempenhar múltiplas tarefas. Os serviços de saúde devem apoiar e acompanhar usuários com limitação de mobilidade e cuidadores, visando ao empoderamento para melhor enfrentar dificuldades cotidianas.
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to characterize the socio-epidemiological profile of clients with limited mobility and caregivers served on the staff Family Health Strategy of a Sanitary District, Uberaba, Minas Gerais. This study was a descriptive, crosssectional quantitative approach. The results showed that the majority of the 101 users were more than 60 years old, female, retired, had incomplete Elementary School, low family income, and self-reported multiple comorbidities and dependence on caregivers. According to Braden scale, the majority of the users had moderate and high risk for developing pressure ulcers and 22(21,8%) of them had these ulcers. The predominant characteristics of the 95 caregivers were: aging between 40 and 60 years old, female, housewife, incomplete Elementary School, low family income, relationship to the user, resident with him and performing multiple tasks. Health services should support and monitor users with limited mobility and caregivers aiming at the empowerment to better face the daily difficulties.
RESUMEN
El estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar lo perfil socioepidemiologico de clientes con la movilidad reducida y los cuidadores, asistidos por equipos de la Estrategia Salud de la Familia de una Jurisdicción Sanitaria de Uberaba, Minas Gerais-Brasil. El estudio fue descriptivo, transversal, con enfoque metodológico cuantitativo. Los resultados mostraron que La mayoría de los 101 usuarios eran mayores de 60 años, mujeres y jubilados; tenían educación primaria incompleta, baja renta familiar, múltiples comorbilidades y eran dependientes de sus cuidadores. De acuerdo con la escala de Braden, la mayoría de los usuarios mostraron un riesgo moderado y alto de desarrollar úlceras por presión y 22(21,8%) sujetos presentaron úlceras por presión. De los 95 cuidadores, predominaron edades comprendidas entre los 40 y 60 años, sexo femenino, ama de casa, educación primaria incompleta, baja renta familiar, relación con el usuario y residentes con este desarrollando multitareas. Los servicios de salud deben apoyar y supervisar a los usuarios con movilidad reducida y los cuidadores que buscan El empoderamiento para enfrentar mejor las dificultades diarias.
