O contato entre culturas distintas faz parte da história da humanidade.Originalmente nômade, o homem se desloca por diferentesmotivos, muitos sintetizados na busca por melhores condições devida. Os movimentos migratórios têm levado à constituição de sociedadeshíbridas étnica e culturalmente. Diante disso, pode-se concluirque não há, provavelmente, nenhum país no mundo que possa serconsiderado homogêneo na sua constituição humana e cultural, ouseja, os agrupamentos sociais são, intrinsecamente, multiculturais.O multiculturalismo tem se intensificado desde a SegundaGuerra Mundial. A necessidade de expandir seus mercados levou asnações a se abrirem para produtos de outros países, marcando o crescimentoda ideologia econômica do liberalismo. A nova ordem mundialse deu com a formação de blocos econômicos, fenômeno aindaem processo, estruturado com o intuito de facilitar as trocas comerciais.Entretanto, nessa relação entre as nações, as trocas não se dãoexclusivamente no âmbito do mercado, mas remetem a outras esferascomo a social, a política e a cultural.Downloads
