Um salto de quatro séculos separa a Inês de Camões, n’ Os Lusíadas,da Invenção de Orfeu (1959), de Jorge de Lima e d’ A rainha arcaica(1979) de Ivan Junqueira. Para entender o diálogo intertextual entre astrês obras, tomaremos como centro de leitura duas investigações: a primeira,a que se refere ao pensamento de Antônio Cândido ao enunciaruma “vontade de fazer literatura brasileira” (Candido, 1975, p. 25); a segunda,o ensaio investigativo de Maria Leonor Machado de Sousa, emsua obra D. Inês e D. Sebastião na literatura inglesa, ao estudar a projeçãodos dois temas portugueses que mais freqüentam as literaturas estrangeiraDownloads
