COMPETÊNCIA COMUNICATIVA EM LÍNGUA ESTRANGEIRA (Que conceito é esse?)
Abstract
termo competência tem-se constituído num dos mais confusose controvertidos, tanto na Lingüística quanto na Lingüística Aplicada.Passados quase trinta anos do despontar do movimento comunicativo,ainda hoje se busca uma normalização ou consensualidadepara o termo. Não é raro que os autores o utilizem com sentidos diferentessem se darem conta do fato. Assim, tornou-se muito difícil estabelecercom precisão o que tal termo significa (TAYLOR,1988:148; HYMES, 1979; SAVIGNON, 1971; CANALE E SWAIN,1980; CANALE, 1983; STERN, 1987; SPOLSKY, 1973, 1989;WIDDOWSON, 1989; BACHMAN, 1990, 1991; ALMEIDA FILHO,1997; CONSOLO, 1999; ALVARENGA, 1999).
