ESTRATÉGIAS FACILITADORAS DA LEITURA DE TEXTOS ACADÊMICOS EM INGLÊS COMO LÍNGUA ESTRANGEIRA (ILE)
Abstract
Este artigo é parte de um estudo das estratégias cognitivas emetacognitivas empregadas por leitores de Inglês como Língua Estrangeira(ILE) na leitura de textos acadêmicos específicos e não específicosde sua área de estudo e/ou trabalho. A pesquisa objetivouidentificar os processos mentais que ativam o conhecimento préviosobre o tipo de texto e sobre o assunto no ato de leitura de um textoacadêmico em ILE e avaliar a influência deste conhecimento nacompreensão dos textos lidos.
