Construcionalidade: uma proposta de aplicação sincrônica

Neste artigo, propomos uma abordagem sincrônica para o estudo da mudança linguística em perspectiva construcionista. Defendemos um modelo analítico com base nos pressupostos teóricos tanto da Construcionalização e das Mudanças Construcionais (TRAUGOTT e TROUSDALE, 2013) quanto dos estudos que versam sobre variação, gradiência e gramaticalidade (TRAUGOTT e TROUSDALE, 2010; ROSENBACH, 2010; AUTOR, 2016; PIETRANDREA, 2005; entre outros). A perspectiva da Construcionalização e das Mudanças Construcionais (TRAUGOTT e TROUSDALE, 2013), embora represente um modelo, ao mesmo tempo, funcionalista e cognitivista para a abordagem construcional em mudança linguística, volta-se exclusivamente para a investigação diacrônica, conforme sustentam os próprios autores. Nesse sentido, cunhamos o termo construcionalidade, uma categoria analítica que busca descrever a relações horizontais e três diferentes tipos de relações verticais entre construções no plano sincrônico. Sustentamos que essa abordagem preenche uma lacuna de cunho teórico nos estudos construcionistas, haja vista o grande número de pesquisas de caráter sincrônico em desenvolvimento em nosso país.
