Crítica textual (também chamada de baixa crítica ou críticadocumental) é o nome dado ao estudo dos textos antigos e da suapreservação ao longo do tempo. Isto se dá, especialmente, no tocanteaos manuscritos bíblicos antigos. A sua tarefa é, portanto, a de reconstituiro texto de forma que seja o mais fiel possível ao originalcom base nos documentos textuais disponíveis.O texto ao ser transmitido vai sofrendo modificações ao longodo tempo, isto é, a cada cópia que se faz é mudada a sua constituição,seja por ato involuntário ou não de quem o copia. Por este motivoa Crítica Textual tem como seu objeto primordial a restituição daforma genuína dos textos.Downloads
