Abstract

A tipografia (do grego typos – "forma" – e graphein –"escrita") é a arte e o processo de criação na composição de umtexto, física ou digitalmente. A tipografia também passou a ser ummodo de se referir à gráfica que usa uma prensa de tipos móveis.A prensa de tipos móveis, foi um processo gráfico criado porJohannes Gutenberg no século XV. Inicialmente a prensa era usadapara produção de livros, mas, a partir do século XVIII, foi usada paraimprimir jornais.
