O longo voo da ironia: de Sócrates a Baudelaire

A ironia, reconhecido instrumento de criação literária, frequentemente é utilizadaem prol da preservação da liberdade individual, sobretudo, em períodos de fratura e grandesrevoluções. O presente ensaio observa de que maneira a ironia produz novas facetas do belo apartir de uma posição marginal ou oposta à positividade instituída. Para tanto, analisa como orecrudescimento da subjetividade e as múltiplas transformações na ordem da existênciaimpulsionaram a produção artística ao fim do Romantismo francês.
