Abstract: This article presents a critical analysis on a set of reports produced by (inter)national agencies that, in the course of the last two decades, have been monitoring racialized inequalities in access to housing. The analysis is informed by an ethnographic journey throughout a set of self-produced spaces and housing projects, inhabited mainly by Roma populations, aiming at exploring the relationship between segregation, racialization and dehumanization processes, in contemporary Portugal.
Keywords: Housing, Monitoring, Racism, Segregation.
