Resumen
El artículo propone un estudio sobre los desafíos presentes, y pendientes, de conciliar la dignidad de los niños, niñas y adolescentes con la responsabilidad de los gobiernos, desde lo reconocido en la Convención de los Derechos del Niño. Así, se debate el paternalismo en las agendas políticas, que exige otorgar a los niños mayor visibilidad como actores sociales, buscando garantizar un desarrollo más sostenible e inclusivo.

Abstract
The article proposes a study on the present and pending challenges to reconcil the dignity of children and adolescents with the responsibility of governments, as recognized in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Thus, paternalism is discussed in the political agendas, which requires granting children greater visibility as social actors, seeking to ensure a more sustainable and inclusive development.
