This study examines climate change in the Amazon, focusing on extreme droughts in Manaus and their impacts on urban logistics. The main objective is to reveal the effects of these droughts on the city's logistics and propose adaptation solutions. Extreme droughts pose a significant challenge, affecting the quality of life and the local economy. The research adopts an interdisciplinary approach, integrating civil engineering, urban planning, environmental sciences, and public policy. Data collected from public officials and transportation companies provided a solid foundation for analysis. The results show that urban infrastructure, especially land-based, is inadequate to cope with these droughts. The study highlights the urgent need to improve infrastructure and adopt adaptive measures, such as expanding the road network and developing a railway system. Collaboration between government, the community, and the private sector is essential to promoting urban resilience.
