The teaching of Mathematics, historically marked by technocratic views and a belief in epistemological neutrality, has been challenged by critical perspectives that understand it as a social, cultural, and political practice. From this perspective, this study aims to analyze how the education of two teachers, as evidenced in their (auto)biographies, is linked to the construction of pedagogical and assessment practices committed to equity in Mathematics education. Using a qualitative approach, the research uses (auto)biographical narrative as a source of data collection and adopts Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA) as a method of examining the empirical material. The corpus consists of the narratives of two teachers who teach Mathematics, identified as “Teacher Experiences” and “Teacher Equity”. The results indicate that teacher education aligned with the perspective of Critical Mathematics Education (CME) can promote equity and reaffirm education as a practice of freedom, based on listening, dialogue, and a commitment to social transformation.
