O presente artigo tem o objetivo geral de discutir os mecanismos de inclusão das crianças com TEA na Educação Infantil. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, de abordagem qualitativa, de dispositivos legais, livros e artigos científicos. Após a análise das publicações, os resultados demonstram a necessidade de desenvolver ações de formação continuada com os profissionais de educação e investir na estrutura escolar, de modo a programar as instituições de educação infantil para a inclusão e desenvolvimento das crianças com TEA. Convém a publicação de novos estudos que subsidiem o trabalho dos professores, contribuindo com práticas educativas mais assertivas que assegurem a inclusão desenvolvimento e bem-estar destas crianças. A análise permitiu compreender que, para que se efetive as políticas e práticas que se destinam à inclusão, a sociedade - mais especificamente os educadores – precisam de formação continuada, assim como as unidades de educação infantil necessitam de infraestrutura para assegurar a qualidade da educação inclusiva proposta.
