About the Journal

Psychology and Social Knowing is published by UERJ - State University of Rio de Janeiro, under the editorial responsibility of the Laboratory of Memory and Social Representations of the Graduate Program in Social Psychology, with technical and administrative support of the Laboratory of Contemporary Studies.

The Journal is endorsed by the "Serge Moscovici" International Research Center in Social Psychology and Representation, which gathers various national and foreign teaching and research institutions, as a privileged scientific journal for the diffusion of the academic production derived from its promoted inter-exchanges.

Created in 2012, Psychology and Social Knowing publishes - in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish, by electronic means and every six months - scientific articles and essays, reports of empirical research and critical reviews on the subjects of social thinking and social knowledge, produced in the areas of social psychology and related disciplines, as well as in fields of social intervention, with an emphasis on contributions involving the theoretical perspective of social representations.
