A qualidade dos registros de enfermagem em prontuários de pacientes hospitalizados

Abstract

O estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a qualidade dos registros de enfermagem nos prontuários de um hospital privado do interior do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Trata-se de estudo descritivo, com análise documental retrospectiva de dados extraídos de planilhas secundárias utilizadas pela comissão de prontuários, referentes a 72 prontuários de pacientes internados no período de setembro de 2010 a março de 2011. Cinco itens foram analisados: admissão, acesso venoso periférico, dor, transferências internas e intercorrências. Os subitens relacionados a cada item foram analisados utilizando-se um escore, considerados como ótimos os subitens com incidência de até 90%, bom de 80-89%, regular de 70-79% e ruim abaixo de 70%. Dos 22 subitens analisados, 53,3% apresentaram níveis ótimos e bons. Atenção especial deve ser dispensada aos registros referentes à dor, acesso venoso e antecedentes alérgicos, que atingiram classificação ruim, apesar de serem extremamente relevantes na gestão da assistência de enfermagem.
