Objective: to examine how nursing professionals in a family health unit assimilate the theory and practice of domestic violence against women (DVAW). Method: in this qualitative study, based on Social Representations Theory, data were collected from 25 nursing professionals by semi-structured interview, entered into Nvivo 10 software and treated by content analysis. Results: two analytical categories were elaborated: the components of DVAW (concept, image and attitude); and detection of cases of DVAW. Conclusion: the structured representation (containing image, concept and attitude) reveals the influence of the professional context. It is believed that articulating victim protection and care services in a network would render primary care for women more effective, decisive and comprehensive.
RESUMO
Objetivo: analisar a assimilação teórica e prática acerca da violência doméstica contra a mulher (VDCM) entre profissionais de enfermagem, considerando o atendimento às vítimas em unidade de saúde da família. Método: pesquisa qualitativa, fundamentada na Teoria das Representações Sociais, realizada com 25 profissionais de enfermagem. Os dados foram coletados através de entrevista semiestruturada, inseridos no software Nvivo 10 e tratados a partir da análise de conteúdo. Resultados: foram elaboradas duas categorias analíticas: Os componentes da VDCM: conceito, imagem e atitude e Detecção dos casos de VDCM. Conclusão: a representação estruturada contendo imagem, conceito e atitude expõe a influência do contexto profissional. Acredita-se que a articulação, em rede, dos serviços de proteção e assistência às vítimas, tornariam o atendimento mais efetivo, resolutivo e integral às mulheres assistidas na atenção básica.

Objetivo: analizar la asimilación teórica y práctica acerca de la violencia doméstica contra la mujer (VDCM) entre profesionales de enfermería, considerando la atención a las víctimas en unidad de salud de la familia. Método: investigación cualitativa, fundamentada en la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales, realizada junto a 25 profesionales de enfermería. Los datos fueron recolectados por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas, insertadas en el software Nvivo 10 y tratados a partir del análisis de contenido. Resultados: se elaboraron dos categorías analíticas: Los componentes de la VDCM: concepto, imagen y actitud y Detección de los casos de VDCM. Conclusión: la representación estructurada que contiene imagen, concepto y actitud expone la influencia del contexto profesional. Se cree que la articulación, en red, de los servicios de protección y asistencia a las víctimas, volvería la atención más efectiva, resolutiva e integral a las mujeres asistidas en la atención básica.
