Objetivo: analisar a tendência empreendedora de docentes do curso de enfermagem de uma universidade estadual pública. Método: estudo quantitativo, transversal, realizado com 85 docentes de enfermagem, no período de dezembro de 2014 a fevereiro de 2015, com a aplicação do Teste de Tendência Empreendedora Geral (TEG), juntamente com questões sociodemográficas e ocupacionais. O projeto foi aprovado no Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa da Universidade Estadual de Londrina-PR, com CAAE 36742514.40000.5231. Resultados: os entrevistados apresentaram de média a alta tendência empreendedora e, dentre os que obtiveram alta tendência, a autonomia foi a dimensão mais prevalente. Houve baixa pontuação na dimensão de propensão em assumir riscos calculados. Conclusão: o empreendedorismo na enfermagem necessita ser abordado no meio acadêmico, pois influencia no desenvolvimento social e profissional do enfermeiro. Estratégias de disseminação da cultura empreendedora entre alunos e docentes de enfermagem precisam ser incentivadas.
ABSTRACT
Objective: to analyze the tendency of teachers of the nursing course of a public state university to be enterprising. Method: a quantitative cross-sectional study with 85 nursing teachers accomplished in December 2014 to February 2015, applying the General Measure of Enterprising Tendency (GET) test, along with sociodemographic and occupational questions. The project was approved by the research ethics committee of the Londrina State University, Paraná (CAAE 36742514.40000.5231). Results: the interviewees’ tendency to be enterprising was medium to high and, among those who scored high, need for autonomy was the dimension most prevalent in the analysis. Scores were low in the calculated risk taking dimension. Conclusion: being enterprising in nursing needs to be addressed in the academic environment, because it influences nurses’ social and professional development of Nursing. Strategies need to be encouraged to disseminate a culture of being enterprising among nursing students and teachers.

Objetivo: analizar la tendencia emprendedora de docentes del curso de enfermería de una universidad estatal pública. Método: Estudio cuantitativo, transversal, realizado junto a 85 docentes de enfermería, en el período de diciembre de 2014 a febrero de 2015, con la aplicación del Test de Tendencia Emprendedora General (TEG) y, también, con preguntas sociodemográficas y ocupacionales. El proyecto fue aprobado en el Comité de Ética e Investigación de la Universidad Estatal de Londrina-PR, con CAAE 36742514.40000.5231. Resultados: los entrevistados presentaron de media a alta tendencia emprendedora y, entre los que obtuvieron alta tendencia, la autonomía fue la dimensión analizada más prevalente. Hubo baja puntuación en la dimensión de propensión a asumir riesgos calculados. Conclusión: es necesario abordar el espíritu empresarial en enfermería en el medio académico pues influye en el desarrollo social y profesional del enfermero. Se necesita incentivar estrategias de diseminación de la cultura emprendedora entre alumnos y docentes de enfermería.
