[EM EDIÇÃO] Condições de trabalho e autonomia profissional da equipe de enfermagem no sistema prisional

Objetivo: avaliar as condições de trabalho e o nível de autonomia profissional da equipe de enfermagem no sistema prisional de Minas Gerais, Brasil. Método: estudo transversal, descritivo-analítico e quantitativo, realizado com 164 profissionais de enfermagem que atuam em sistema prisional em Minas Gerais. Utilizou-se um questionário para obter os dados laborais e a Nursing Activity Scale para avaliar o nível de autonomia, aprovado pelo comitê de ética. Resultados: a maioria dos profissionais eram enfermeiras, com vínculo efetivo, trabalhando diurnamente em regime 4x 1, com espaço para trabalho, mas com carência de recursos, treinamento e local de descanso. Predominou um nível médio de autonomia profissional. A análise inferencial mostrou que ter filhos se associou a menor autonomia, enquanto maior idade e ter companheiro se relacionaram a maior autonomia. Conclusão: as condições de trabalho desses profissionais no sistema prisional são desafiadoras e o nível de autonomia é principalmente médio, influenciado por características pessoais e profissionais.
