[EM EDIÇÃO] Excesso de peso e autocuidado gestacional na atenção primária: análise qualitativa segundo Orem

Objetivo: analisar as visões, barreiras e facilitadores do autocuidado em gestantes com excesso de peso na Atenção Primária à Saúde, com base na Teoria de Orem. Método: estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório, realizado com gestantes com excesso de peso em uma unidade de saúde do norte do Brasil, entre março e julho de 2023. Dados coletados por entrevistas semiestruturadas e submetidos à análise de conteúdo temática de Bardin, orientada pelo referencial teórico de Orem. Protocolo de pesquisa aprovada por Comitê de Ética. Resultados: entre 17 gestantes, emergiram três categorias: rotina alimentar na gestação, déficits de autocuidado universal - atividade física e lazer, e déficits de autocuidado para o desenvolvimento da gestação - implicações do excesso de peso. Considerações finais: as percepções revelam barreiras e potenciais facilitadores do autocuidado, reforçando a necessidade de estratégias na atenção primária que apoiem gestantes com excesso de peso.
