Diagnósticos de enfermagem no domínio enfrentamento e tolerância ao estresse em pacientes com AIDS [Nursing diagnoses in the coping and stress tolerance domain in patients with AIDS]

Objetivo: analisar associações entre diagnósticos de enfermagem, fatores relacionados/risco e as características definidoras do domínio enfrentamento e tolerância ao estresse da North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, em pacientes com a Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (AIDS). Método: estudo transversal com 113 pacientes com AIDS internados em Hospital Giselda Trigueiro, localizado em Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil. Os dados foram coletados entre março e setembro de 2014 por meio de entrevista e exame físico, e analisados segundo as fases do julgamento clínico de Gordon. Pesquisa aprovada pelo comitê de ética em pesquisa, com certificado de apresentação para apreciação ética nº 23008113.8.0000.5537. Resultados: identificou-se associação entre ansiedade, medo, estresse; síndrome do estresse por mudança, ansiedade, estado de saúde diminuída; medo, relato de apreensão, dano sensorial; risco de sentimento de impotência, doença estigmatizada e conhecimento deficiente. Conclusão: o estudo contribuiu para a identificação de diagnósticos de enfermagem relacionados a características específicas destes pacientes.
ABSTRACT
Objective: to examine the associations between nursing diagnoses, related risk factors and defining characteristics of the coping and stress tolerance domain of the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association in patients with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Method: in this cross-sectional study of 113 AIDS inpatients at Giselda Trigueiro Hospital, in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, data were collected between March and September 2014 by interview and physical examination, and analyzed according to the stages of Marjory Gordon’s clinical assessment. The study was approved by the research ethics committee (ethical evaluation submission certificate No. 23008113.8.0000.5537). Results: associations were found among anxiety, fear, and stress; change stress syndrome, anxiety, and decreased health status; fear, reports of apprehension, and sensory damage; and risk of feeling impotent, stigmatized disease and poor knowledge. Conclusion: the study contributed to identifying nursing diagnoses related to the specific characteristics of these patients.

Objetivo: analizar asociaciones entre diagnósticos de enfermería, factores relacionados / riesgo y las características que definen el dominio enfrentamiento y tolerancia al estrés de la North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, en pacientes con el Síndrome de la Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida (SIDA). Método: Estudio transversal junto a 113 pacientes con SIDA internados en Hospital Giselda Trigueiro, ubicado en Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil. Los datos fueron recolectados entre marzo y septiembre de 2014 por medio de entrevista y examen físico, y analizados según las fases del juicio clínico de Gordon. Investigación aprobada por el comité de ética en investigación, con certificado de presentación para evaluación ética nº 23008113.8.0000.5537. Resultados: se identificó una asociación entre ansiedad, miedo, estrés; síndrome del estrés por cambio, ansiedad, estado de salud disminuida; miedo, relato de aprehensión, daño sensorial; riesgo de sentimiento de impotencia, enfermedad estigmatizada y conocimiento deficiente. Conclusión: el estudio contribuyó a la identificación de diagnósticos de enfermería relacionados con características específicas de estos pacientes.
