In the present study, the subjects related to the Didactics of Children's and Youth Literature in the degrees of teachers in Early Childhood Education of Spanish universities are analyzed from the analysis of data reflected in their teaching plans. Information was obtained from 58 Spanish universities that teach the aforementioned degree. Various aspects of the 38 public universities that teach the subject of Children's and Youth Literature were examined, such as the field of origin knowledge, its mandatory nature, the number of credits assigned, the name as a subject, its public or private typology, the publishers and the authors most cited in their bibliographies. From this purely descriptive and quantitative analysis, the general conclusion was drawn that there is a certain homogeneity in the presentation of the subjects. This fact may explain the agreement signed in 2007 in which Spain would enter the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) to modernize its Higher Education System.
