HISTÓRIA DA EDUCAÇÃO FLUMINENSE NOS ESTUDOS DA PROFESSORA HAYDÉE FIGUEIRÊDO

This text revisits the intellectual production carried out by professor Haydée da Graça Ferreira de Figueirêdo, carried out throughout her career as a teacher of basic and higher education. The objectives presented are about the memorialistic recovery of the life and professional trajectory of the local intellectual, offering us different ways of understanding local and national education. The guiding threads are bibliographic and documentary research, based on studies of the “indexical paradigm” (GINZBURG, 1989) and “understanding the present in light of the past” (BLOCH, 2001). Educational historiography focuses on “understanding the place and its historical analyses” (FIGUEIRÊDO, 2004), where the studies developed illuminate new knowledge about the history of education in Rio de Janeiro. The variables of the social fabric and the school experiences present in their reflections “strengthened the binomial research and teaching” (NUNES, 2010), valuing pedagogical action and public schools. Thus, this text aims to share the productions carried out by professor Haydée Figueirêdo, its relevance in teacher training and presence in the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the Faculty of Teacher Training in São GonçaloDownloads
