Resumo

O artigo reúne três autores, Boaventura de Bagnoregio (1217-1274), Guilherme de Ockham (1285-1347) e Nicolau de Cusa (1401-1464), que situam os movimentos histórico-sociais em momentos distintos e abordam a relação entre ciência e fé. Os objetivos são investigar o passado e promover reflexões voltadas à educação e à formação humana, pautadas nas exigências sociais e amparadas pela religião, economia e política. Nesse sentido, a questão que se levanta é: O que corresponde à douta ignorância diante da ciência e da religião? Talvez essa pergunta se mostre inquietante no contexto do século XXI. Assim, a pesquisa abrange debates elaborados por grandes pensadores dos séculos passados, referentes ao uso do intelecto como fonte de compreensão e transformação da sociedade. Desse modo, a investigação pretende responder a essa questão, favorecendo a compreensão do significado de douta ignorância e viabilizando reflexões sobre suas implicações socioeducacionais no presente.

Nubia Aparecida Pimenta de Souza , Universidade Estadual de Maringá - UEM

Doctoral candidate in the Postgraduate Program in Education at UEM. Master's degree in Teaching: Interdisciplinary Teacher Training from the State University of Paraná UNESPAR (2017). Holds a degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Paraná UNESPAR Campus/Paranavaí (2005) and a degree in Philosophy from the State University of Maringá (2008). Member of the Research Group on Education and Teaching in the Middle Ages, Modernity and Contemporaneity GPEMC-UNESPAR and the Research Group on Social Transformations and Education in Antiquity and the Middle Ages GTSEAM-UEM.

Conceição Solange Perin, Universidade Estadual de Maringá - UEM

Graduated in Pedagogy from the State University of Maringá (2002), Master's degree in Education from the State University of Maringá (2005), Doctorate in Education from the State University of Maringá (2010), Post-Doctorate in Education from the State University of Maringá and Internship at the University of Salamanca (2017). Currently, she is a tenured professor (Associate C) in the Department of Theory and Practice at the University of Maringá - UEM. Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Education - PPE, at the State University of Maringá - UEM and professor in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching: Interdisciplinary Teacher Training - PPIFOR at the State University of Paraná UNESPAR - Paranavaí campus. She leads the Research Group on Education and Teaching in the Middle Ages, Modernity and Contemporaneity - GPEMC, and is a member of the Research Group: Social Transformations and Education in Antiquity and the Middle Ages - GTSEAM/UEM. She is part of the GEMYR Group - Group of Medieval and Renaissance Studies - Madrid, Spain. She is a member of the Interdisciplinary Center Classics in Education: Antiquity and Medieval Studies - NICE. She has experience in the field of Education, with an emphasis on management and teaching in Basic Education. In Higher Education, her experience is in teacher training. In the field of research, her studies are centered on Education, Teaching, History of Education, and Philosophy of Education.

Tatiane Graciele Caetano Campos , Universidade Estadual de Maringá - UEM

Doctoral candidate in the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPE) at the State University of Maringá - UEM since 2022. Master's degree from PPIFOR - Master's in Teaching: Interdisciplinary Teacher Training from the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program at the State University of Paraná - UNESPAR. Currently a teacher in the municipal education network of Guaporema-PR. Holds a degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Maringá (2004). Postgraduate degree in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy from the University Center of Maringá - CESUMAR and Specialization in Health for elementary and high school teachers from the Federal University of Paraná - UFPR. Worked at the Municipal Department of Education, Culture and Sport of Guaporema providing advice on the development of the Articulated Action Plan - PAR, Municipal Education Plan - PME and Public Teaching Career Plan. Has experience in the field of Education, mainly working on the following themes: literacy and reading comprehension, pedagogical proposal; School regulations; basic education and public education policies.
