The indicators from the climate sciences regarding the limits of the planet have never been so evident as now in showing the uncontrolled advance of capitalism over natural resources, generation of pollutants, and climate disequilibrium. Despite the evidence, the inaction and accelerating systemic disasters continue non-stopable. In Brazil, we bring to the debate some considerations on the national context with the devastating dimensions of the productive economy and business in intensifying the climate emergency and in affecting sociobiodiversity.
