Abstract
The present review of the book “Women and Political Representation: 25 years of studies on electoral quotas in Brazil” proposes to briefly describe and analyze each of the twenty-four articles that compose it, which are divided into four sections. Given the current challenging political situation that Brazil is going through, the work is essential to the field of Social Sciences, offering an overview of reflections on the rights of political representation, especially in the face of the threats to rights once conquered by feminists and women's movements. So, this review is part of the effort to contribute to broadening the discussion about the political rights of women in their diversity.
Keywords: Political representation; electoral quotas; women in politics.
