Abstract
This article aims to discuss the connection between bioethics, biopolitics and biolaw. Therefore, the meanings of the neologisms aforementioned -that use the prefix "bios" to correlate ethics, politics and law -are embodied in lexical terms, official documents and philosophical/juridical theories. The relevance of this analysis should contribute to reinforce the critical to the legal doctrine grounded on what we call the heterodox critical theories of moral, politics and law likes M. Foucault and G. Agamben.
Key-words: sovereign decision, autonomy, human dignity
