Abstract

This paper analyzes social forces in dispute over education within recent years, after the 2016 coup, primarily focusing on three projects: Nonpartisan School (ESP), Homeschooling, and the Civic-Military School Program (PECIM), taking as theoretical reference the category correlation of forces, according to Poulantzas. It is aimed at weaving reflections and making notes that contribute to the clarification of the challenges faced by the working class in the defense of interests of workers. In this sense, the contributions of István Mészáros are resumed with his lecture Education Beyond Capital, in which he already pointed out the incorrigible character of the capitalist mode of production and the need to overcome it.
