A PRODUÇÃO CINEMATOGRÁFICA ENQUANTO ESPAÇO POLÍTICO E EDUCACIONAL: Uma análise do filme “o clube do imperador”

O cinema na sociedade moderna possui, dentre tantos outros aspectos, o poder de influenciar o comportamento do indivíduo em coletividade, além de fornecer um conjunto de possibilidades didático-pedagógicas para o ensino formal (a escolarização), pois, o filme exibido em sala de aula provoca, a partir da sensibilidade semiótica, a criação e/ou recriação de novos sentidos, ‘sabores’ e olhares; ou seja, uma leitura ou releitura crítica do mundo concebido, percebido e vivido pelo(s) estudante(s) no processo de aprendizagem, a partir da produção cinematográfica inserida no ambiente escolar. Dessa forma, o presente artigo expõe dois objetivos centrais: primeiro, compreender o cinema enquanto espaço político e cultural concebido socialmente, e, conjuntamente, analisar as produções cinematográficas na qualidade de recursos didáticos e formativos; sendo, portanto, elemento canalizador na potencialidade de uma (nova) consciência humana. Contudo, restringe-se a este estudo, uma análise, do filme The Emperor´s Club (O Clube do Imperador), lançado em 2002, nos Estados Unidos da América.
