JOGOS DIGITAIS NO ENSINO DA LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA PARA CRIANÇAS SURDAS

Este artigo traz o relato do projeto Educomunicação realizado em uma escola municipal de uma cidade de grande porte do estado de São Paulo em parceria com a Universidade Estadual de Campinas teve como objetivo desenvolver atividades digitais como jogos e aplicativos em tablets para o ensino de língua portuguesa como segunda língua para crianças surdas de 1º a 5º ano, em uma sala bilíngue. Como método de pesquisa, utilizamos o estudo de caso, com o recorte de atividades e a análise comparativa do desempenho dos alunos em duas avaliações: uma contendo palavras trabalhadas em jogos digitais e outra com palavras que não receberam esse recurso. A avaliação comparativa evidenciou que houve mais acertos na leitura e escrita de palavras cujo léxico recebeu a intervenção de atividades e jogos digitais produzidos pelas pesquisadoras com o uso do tablet. A pesquisa concluiu que os jogos digitais são uma importante estratégia no ensino da língua portuguesa para crianças surdas.
