About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Revista SUSTINERE (SUST), had launched its first issue in December 2013, and its ISSN (2359-0424) obtained in December 2014. Its publication is bi-annual and aims to publish national and international contributions academic, technical and scientific articulating interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary issues related to health and education in their interfaces with society, science, the environment and technology. Jobs are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Because of the demand there may be additional or thematic issues.
It is an electronic publication of free access through the link http://www.e-publicacoes.uerj.br/index.php/sustinere/index following the principle that knowledge freely available to the public provides greater democratization of knowledge, disclosing at no cost to the author or the reader, full texts in PDF files.
Peer Review Process
The process of peer review applied by the Revista SUSTINERE is the double-blind (double blind review), where the manuscripts are sent anonymously to two experts. After the process of peer review, requiring, on the recommendation of a referee, the article is sent to the author (s) for science and possible fixes. Meet these requirements and in the event of any discrepancy between assessments, the work is submitted to a third referee in the same process. The Editorial Board may be asked to assist in the prioritization of articles for publication in the next issue or the following in case of oversupply. In any situation, science will be given to the (s) author(s) regarding the possibility of deferment of publication.
The published articles do not necessarily reflect the views of the editorial board of the Journal sustinere and is therefore of authorship and sole responsibility of the authors responsible for their contents.
