[EM EDIÇÃO] Sinais neurocomportamentais de recém-nascidos pré-termos durante o banho de imersão em banheira

Objetivo: descrever e comparar a frequência dos sinais neurocomportamentais de aproximação e retraimento em recém-nascidos pré-termo durante o banho de imersão em banheira. Método: estudo descritivo, observacional e prospectivo, realizado com 30 recém-nascidos pré-termo internados em unidade neonatal de hospital universitário no Rio de Janeiro. Os banhos foram filmados e analisados com instrumento baseado na Teoria Síncrono-Ativa do Desenvolvimento. Resultados: foram identificados 722 sinais de retraimento e 248 de aproximação, com predomínio dos sinais de retraimento, principalmente no subsistema motor, indicando maior desorganização comportamental durante o procedimento. Conclusão: o banho de imersão em banheira mostrou-se potencialmente estressor para recém-nascidos pré-termo, evidenciado pela maior frequência de sinais de retraimento em comparação aos de aproximação.
