Significados do festival da loucura: a perspectiva de profissionais de centros de atenção psicossocial [Meanings of the madness festival: the perspective of professionals inside psychosocial attention centers]

A reforma psiquiátrica brasileira é considerada um dos mais frutíferos, promissores e vigorosos processos mundiais de transformação na saúde mental e psiquiatria, mas grande parte da produção de experiências, projetos e reflexões da dimensão social da reforma não são publicadas formalmente. O estudo objetivou analisar os significados do Festival da Loucura. Estudo exploratório, descritivo, qualitativo, realizado junto a 11 profissionais do Centro de Atenção Psicossocial de Barbacena, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Os dados foram coletados em novembro de 2011 através de entrevistas gravadas. Para análise das respostas aplicou-se a técnica do discurso do sujeito coletivo. Os significados do Festival da Loucura identificados foram: evento histórico, estratégia do processo de desinstitucionalização, expressão antimanicomial e mudança de paradigma. O Festival da Loucura caracteriza-se como expressão sociocultural da reforma psiquiátrica onde os recursos culturais surgem com fins de reinserção social e permitem a revisão de valores e crenças excludentes e estigmatizantes de forma dinâmica, inusitada e divertida na comunidade.
ABSTRACT
The brazilian psychiatric reform is considered one of the most fruitful and promising vigorous global processes of transformation in the mental health and psychiatry, but most of the production of experiences, projects and reflections of the social dimension of the reform are not formally published. This research aims to analyse the meanings of the Madness Festival. This is an exploratory, descriptive and qualitative carried out among 11 professionals of the Psychosocial Attention Center in Barbacena, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The data was collected during November of 2011 through recorded interviews. In order to analyze the responses given, the collective subject technique was applied. The meanings of the Madness Festival identified were: historical event, strategy of the deinstitutionalization process, expression anti-asylum and paradigm shift. The Madness Festival characterized as expression of socio-cultural of the psychiatric reform arise where cultural resources with the purpose of probation and allow the revision of values and beliefs exclusionary and stigmatizing dynamically, unusual and fun community.
RESUMEN
La reforma psiquiátrica brasileña es considerada uno de los más fructíferos y prometedores procesos globales de transformación en la salud mental y la psiquiatría, pero la mayor parte de la producción de experiencias, proyectos y reflexiones sobre la dimensión social de la reforma no se publican oficialmente. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los significados del Festival de la Locura. Es un estudio exploratorio, descriptivo, cualitativo, realizado junto a 11 profesionales del Centro de Atención Psicosocial de Barbacena, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Los datos fueron recolectados durante el mes de noviembre de 2011, por medio de entrevistas grabadas. Para el análisis de las respuestas se empleó la técnica del discurso del sujeto colectivo. Los significados identificados del Festival de la Locura fueron: acontecimiento histórico, estrategia del proceso de desinstitucionalización, expresión contra el asilo y cambio de paradigma. El Festival de la Locura es caracterizado como una expresión sociocultural de la reforma psiquiátrica donde surgen los recursos culturales con el fin reinserción social y permiten la revisión de los valores y creencias de exclusión y estigmatización de forma dinámica, original y divertida en la comunidad.
