Perfil profissiográfico de trabalhadores de nível universitário em serviços de saúde mental [Professional profile of university level workers in mental health services]

A mudança no modelo de assistência em saúde mental no Brasil alterou a lógica de organização do trabalho dos profissionais. Vive-se ainda um momento de transição na área que pode representar um desafio para os trabalhadores, havendo a necessidade de mudanças no perfil e nas ações que irão desenvolver nos serviços de saúde especializados. O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar o perfil profissiográfico dos trabalhadores de nível superior que atuam nos serviços de saúde mental públicos do interior do Estado de Goiás. Pesquisa descritiva, realizada em 2011, com a participação de 100 trabalhadores que atuam em 22 serviços. Os resultados revelaram característica multidisciplinar na formação profissional dos trabalhadores, sendo a maioria jovem com pouca experiência em saúde mental. Os salários são baixos e poucos possuem especialização na área. Há carência de investimentos em qualificação dos profissionais e de melhorias das condições de trabalho.
ABSTRACT
The change in the model assitencial in mental health care in Brazil changed the logic of organization of work of workers. Remains a time of transition in specialized assistance that can represent a challenge for workers, with the need to change the profile and actions that will develop the specialized health services. The objective of this study was to characterize the socioeconomic profile and formation of workers in mental health services in the state of Goias-Brazil. It is a descriptive study with the participation of 100 professionals working in 22 services. The results revealed characteristic in multidisciplinary training of workers, mostly young with little experience in mental health. The salaries are low and few professionals possess expertise in the area. There is a lack of investment in professional qualification and improvement of working conditions.
RESUMEN
El cambio en el modelo de atención de salud mental en Brasil cambió la lógica de la organización del trabajo de los trabajadores. Es un momento de transición en el área que puede suponer desafíos para los trabajadores, con la necesidad de cambiar el perfil y las acciones que se desarrollarán en los servicios de salud especializados. El objetivo de este estudio fue caracterizar el perfil profesional de los trabajadores que trabajan en los servicios de salud mental públicos en el estado de Goiás-Brasil. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, hecho en 2011, con la participación de 100 profesionales que trabajan en 22 servicios. Los resultados revelaron característica en la formación multidisciplinar de los trabajadores, en su mayoría jóvenes con poca experiencia en salud mental. Los salarios son bajos y pocos tienen experiencia en el área. Hay una falta de inversión en la cualificación profesional y en la mejora de las condiciones de trabajo.
