O objetivo deste estudo descritivo foi conhecer o itinerário terapêutico de pessoas com anemia falciforme em crises dolorosas, considerando os três subsistemas de cuidado à saúde: familiar, profissional e popular, a partir do Modelo de Cuidados à Saúde de Kleinman e o conceito de itinerários terapêuticos. Os dados foram obtidos por entrevista semiestruturada a 12 pessoas com anemia falciforme no período de fevereiro a junho de 2011. As informações foram tratadas pelo método de análise de conteúdo. O estudo permitiu conhecer que,apesar da forte valorização do subsistema profissional, as pessoas com anemia falciforme circulam pelos subsistemas: familiar, profissional e popular, sendo recorrente a referência à adoção de cuidados domésticos para manutenção do bem-estar, na prevenção e enfrentamento das crises dolorosas.Os itinerários terapêuticos são empreendidos segundo escolhas possíveis diante dos enfrentamentos cotidianos que essas pessoas vivenciam nos três subsistemas.
ABSTRACT
This study aimed at being acquainted with the therapeutic itinerary of people with sickle cell anemia in painful crisis considering the three subsystems of care: professional, familiar and popular model from the Health Care Kleinman and the concept of therapeutic itineraries. Data were collected through semi-structured interview with 12 people with sickle cell anemia from February to June 2011. The information was treated through the content analysis. This study identified that despite of the strong value that the professional subsystem people with sickle cell anemia circulate subsystems: family, professional and popular, with recurrent reference to the adoption of home care for the maintenance of well-being, prevention and confrontation of painful crises. RESUMEN
El objetivo fue conocer el itinerario terapéutico personas con anemiafalciforme en crisis dolorosas, considerando los tres subsistemas de los cuidados en salud: familiar, profesional y popular, a partir del Modelo de Atención de la Salud de Kleinman y el concepto de itinerarios terapéuticos. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas a 12 personas con anemia falciforme en el periodo de febrero a junio de 2011. Los datos fueron tratados por análisis de contenido. El estudio permitió conocer que, a pesar de la fuerte apreciación del subsistema profesional, las personas circulan en los subsistemas: familiar, profesional y popular con diferentes prácticas domésticas para el mantenimiento de la salud, en la prevención y enfrentamiento de las crisis dolorosas.Los tinerarios terapêuticos se hacen segundo opciones posibles frente a los enfrentamientos cotidianos que las personas experimentan en los subsistemas.
